Author, social entrepreneur and co-founder of "Akon Lightning Africa" with singer Akon, Thione Niang recently launched an agricultural training school in Senegal called "Jeuf Zone". Known for his involvement in Barack Obama's campaign in 2008, he has chosen to write and return to his native country and in Africa to inspire young people. As the US-Africa Leaders' Summit opens this week, Thione Niang tells VOA's Abdourahmane Dia that he hopes for a win-win relationship between the two parties and calls for the US to support Africa's call to join the G20 organization.
